For those keeping score at home, I am on the Mode lead page again with some of my favourite shots from Singapore. The top two styled by Daniel Boey and the bottom one (detail below) styled by Furqan.
William Metcalfe Update from Singapore
The Mode Edmonton party was fun, albeit abruptly terminated. I got a ride to Edmonton with Kastyn and Donnovan and joined them over the next couple of days for an impromptu and very enjoyable snowboarding trip.
My time since Singapore has been a journey both epic and in many ways relaxing. Epic because of the number of stops and evolving uncertain plans. Relaxing because of the gratifying time spent with friends and family on the way.
I need to thank Jason for hosting me in London, my family in Georgetown for taking great care of me in Southern Ontario, Jeff for hosting me in Waterloo, Megumi for hosting me in Toronto, Max for organizing a mini university reunion, Austen and co. for letting me crash on her couch in Edmonton and all my other friends who put up with my last minute plans and make these voyages bright and comforting.
I miss my posse in Singapore and will not forget the wonderful stroganoff dinner that Tabata and Analu put together on my last night on the island-city.
As I draw this acceptance speech to a close, I would like to wish for world peace, joy on Earth, and goodwill towards men. If I did not thank you explicity, it is because you are really not that important.
Kidding of course! I love you all :)

Ok, Calgary is not that small, but I am back home and have been here for a few days now relaxing, decompressing, and hiding from the hoards of screaming fans. I am off to the Mode Edmonton party tonight and when I am back I will give you a holiday update.
While I sit in this wireless enabled coffee shop in the arcade, I should mention something about our character. In this wondefully peaceful and friendly nation, the man two tables down need merely say to me, a total stranger, "Sir, can you watch my things please?" and his open notebook computer, fancy pen, portfolio and businessey luggage is completely safe from theft and vandalism during his 10 minute absence.
It is my last night in Toronto before I return home. The most positive way I can describe the weather here is "refreshing". But boy does all that fluffy white stuff look pretty. See you on the flipside.
I am back in Canada. Though I have been gone for about 8 months, it feels quite natural to be home. I will be in Southern Ontario hopefully visiting London, Waterloo, and Toronto before flying to Calgary on the 15th.
I am on the Mode lead page again. Get it while it's hot. Here are a few of the other shots from the series:
I spent the night in London on my way home from Singapore and I fly to Toronto today. I was really busy right up until the end. Here is one shot from my last few days. Daniel and I are pleasantly surprised to see my beautiful flatmate Oana the Mermaid trapped inside the 2005 commemorative Evian bottle.
A few miscellaneous shots as I wind down my time in Singapore.
